PATRICK Roe started The Logan Press after half a lifetime of supplying, restoring and moving old letterpress machinery and equipment.
He has always had a particular love of Arab presses since owning one as a schoolboy and registered Josiah Wade Limited as the current business name.
AMR Press, run by Giles Hovendon, was one of the few companies in the UK to specialise in the supply, transport, installation, maintenance and reconditioning of letterpress and printmaking equipment.
They had 25 years experience of this work, having grown from the renowned Printing House Museum in Cockermouth, Cumbria.
WITH experience of running an engineering company, Melanie Hollin was the obvious choice to put together the Josiah Wade Limited team. She is the first point of contact over the ’phone or email and handles all the estimating, invoicing, accounts and anything else you can think of.
RICHARD Hemingway is based at his forge and specialises in making parts for presses and patterns for casting.
